Peninsula Friends of Animals
Memorial Wall
The Rainbow Bridge Memorial Wall at Safe Haven honors beloved animals and the people who loved them. At its center is a painted mural surrounded by personalized tiles placed by families remembering companions who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
A place for remembrance
The mural is the focal point of the wall and a gathering place for remembrance at the shelter. It was created as a gift to Peninsula Friends of Animals and framed by custom tile work that allows each memorial to sit within a shared tribute.
Unveiling and contributors
The Rainbow Bridge mural was introduced to the public on Friday, January 24, 2014, at 1:00 pm at the Safe Haven no-kill shelter. The mural was created by artist Marian Morris as a gift to PFOA. The framework for mounting the tiles around the mural was created by volunteer Dave Holtz. Several pet owners placed their tiles on the wall during the unveiling ceremony.
These details are preserved from the original dedication as published by PFOA at the time.

Order forms for the memorial tiles are available at Safe Haven, or by clicking the desired button below.
